The Maison Orleans is like staying at grandmothers. Built in 1902 this home is located in the heart of Capitol Hill and within walking distance to the US Capitol, Library of Congress and Supreme court. The Smithsonian museums are a short walk away or can be reached by the metro located around the corner. Three beautifully appointed rooms all with private baths are available. Queen or Kingsize beds available. One room has twins. All rooms have off street parking available for those guest traveling by car. Resturants, banks and anything one might need are all withing a three block stroll. The Maison Orleans is furnished in family pieces from the 30's and 40's and has a real New orleans feel. The patio area is just like living in the French Quarter in New Orleans where your host is from. |
