Built in 1850, the classic Greek Revival building served as a stagecoach Inn at the turn if the century. It is listed on the register for National Historic Places. The owners have imaginatively restored its spacious rooms to the opulence of a bygone era. At the same time , each room has a zestful personality and sumptuous creature comforts.The Gibson House is centered on the historic town green of Haverhill corners. Fifty foot porches, with sunset views to Vermont, overlooking extensive gardens, with a central lilypond, are popular places for morning coffee or sunset coctails. Paintings of local artists hang throughout the house, which also features a full gallery of her work.
