The Chestnut Inn is located in the historic "Point" section of Newport. We are one block from Narragansett Bay and a half mile from town center. We are kids and pet friendly. The inn has two rooms both with king-size beds and air conditioning. Our large country kitchen is open 24/7. We have off street parking for your safety and convenience. We serve a continental breakfast at 9:30AM. The shared bath has a jet tub for your relaxation. Full cable TV is in the kitchen and living room/library. Walk a block to our pier and have morning coffee while watching sailboats on the bay. The shopping and dining district is a ten minute walk. We have a large enclosed bacyard with a chestnut tree. A huge playground abuts the property in the rear for the pets and kids. Leave the pets while you're in town. We'll watch them for you! |

From NYC and points west take Rt. 95 North to Rt. 138 East to Newport Bridge. Take first exit off bridge and turn right. Take right at the light. Take right at the stop sign. We are the 3rd house on the right.
From Boston and points north take Rt. 24 South to Rt. 138. Follow and turn right on Admiral Kalfbus Rd. (turn to Jai Lai & Newport Bridge) Go under overpass and half way around rotary and exit rotary. Cross railroad tracks. Take left at light onto Third Street. We are at 99 Third Street |
