Details
Located in the beautiful village of Woodstock, The Canterbury House was built in 1880 as a Victorian townhouse and is now owned and operated by Sue and Bob Frost. All 8 guestrooms, which are named after the tales in Chaucers the Canterbury Tales, have their own unique themes, many of which are furnished in antiques. The Monks Tale, at the back of the house, has its own private entrance and gas fireplace, a huge Victorian bath, and cable television. All of the rooms have private baths and air-conditioning. Sues breakfasts have proven to be the hit of many a guests day, just the hearty beginning one needs as they start out on a days excursion of skiing, biking, hiking, and shopping, all of which are readily available in the area. For your comfort, the Canterbury is non-smoking, they dont accept children, and pets are not allowed.
