Details
The weathered shingled building has been completely restored, yet has retained the unique characteristics of this rural tavern dating to the time of Thomas Jefferson's presidency. It harmoniously blends the warmth of original wide plank pine floors, ancient exposed beam ceilings, colonial fences and arbors, with modern day comforts, bright designer fabrics and wallpapers and all private baths.
Breakfast At Coach Stop Inn evokes the pleasure of the passing seasons, as we might have experienced them at an earlier, gentler time. Each day a 3 course gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea is served in the dining rooms.
Your hosts, Jeff and Natalie Reynolds we will be glad to assist you in tailoring the perfect vacation for you. Magnificent Acadia National Park, where the mountains meet the sea, offers approximately 55 miles of the Rockefeller carriage roads and 160 miles of hiking trails. During the spring, summer and fall, some of the many suggested activities might be whale watching, visiting interesting museums, sailing, canoeing, fishing, boutiquing, and antiquing.
