Rock Village Bed and Breakfast is close enough to the attractions but further enough away to escape the tourist industry. Charles Neil Atwood built this home in 1860 and employed over 90 people in the village. The home's entrance greets you with Corinthian columns and a wood carved staircase. Further on pass the pocket doors is the dining room containing an antique tiled fireplace. Turn to the right and the library's tiger oak bookcases invite you to sit for a while. Next door the ribbed ceiling foyer opens up to a three season porch crowned with copper. Come see the original tiles of Victorian tulip and seashells. Your stay at the Inn is your special time away. Our wonderful atmosphere and our knowledge of the area will make it one of the most delightful and memorable experiences you'll ever enjoy.

Holiday Special
Travel back in time to 1860 and image a horse drawn carriage stopping under a port cochere. The door opens and footman takes your hand and you step down from the carriage. You lift up your shirts and climb a few steps entering into an enclosed porch decorated with a beautiful Christmas Tree. Ornaments sparkle, classical guitar is playing in the background and you feel like you have just entered heaven. The ambiance and splendor of the seasons takes your breath away. Image though how different life was back then. Ice and milk were delivered, wood had to be gathered for the fireplaces, lanterns had to be lit. Rock Village was a typical New England Village small quaint and self efficient.
Although there are no footmen here at Rock Village anymore, it is fun to visit and let your imagination run away to time long ago where our grandfathers lived. 20% off on in-season rates Dec. 20th-Jan 4, 2010

Rock Village Bed and Breakfast is noted for its historical significance to Rock Village. The Rock Mill employed over 90 people from village. The Atwoods legacy left behind the unique architecture, antique tiles, stain glassed windows, tiger oak book cases, Corthinian Colums and vintage tubs and sinks. The quarter mile race track is a lovely place to walk or jog. The recreation room and swimming pool make the property more enjoyable. The grape arbor produces concord grape jelly for our guests. The ancient Hydrangea's trees accent the driveways entrance to the Bed and Breakfast
