The Rosemont Inn is a beautifully restored 1881 brick mansion constructed with the finest examples of Indiana native hardwood craftsmenship. The Inn is a repository of antique Eastlake period furniture. The wooden swing on the front porch is a great place to spend an afternoon watching the Ohio river flow by the beautifully sloping front lawn. If you enjoy history you will find Rosemont fascinating. You can spend hours looking through our scrapbooks filled with the history of the home and the Hay Kings who developed Southern Indiana's riverboat trade. The Inn houses a collection of 18th and 19th century museum quality artwork consisting of landscapes and early American portraits. White noted for its breakfasts, the Inn is famous for its optional gourmet evening meals for its guests. The inn is located 7 miles from the Belterra Riverboat Casino, and are within 23 miles of four major wineries. |
