The best thing about all that excitement of coming to the Volcanoes National Park is seeing brand new land being formed before your eyes. Since we are located just 1 mile from the Park, you'll appreciate the convenience of coming "home" quickly. Hilo is 26 miles away and Kona is about a 2 1/2 hour drive back.
Jumping into our piping hot Jacuzzi at night will soothe your bones too. It stays on until midnight. Or, you can help yourself to a cup of hot chocolate or tea before snuggling into your goose-down blankets. Yes, it does get chilly up here, but we have the fireplace on every morning as well as sweet Hawaiian music for your breakfast pleasure.
You will find our accommodations very friendly, clean and satisfying. Your innkeepers just a driveway away and available to greet you, give orientations and prepare a scruptious hot breakfast every day. |

Directions from the HILO airport:
Please call us before you begin your ascent to Volcano.
It takes about a 45 minutes to drive from Hilo; about a 2 1/2 hours from Kona.
Just turn left from the Hilo airport road - and head south on Hwy 11.
Go up the mountain past the 26-mile marker and
Turn RIGHT on HAUNANI Rd.
At the STOP sign, turn Left onto the Old Volcano Rd.
Pass in front of the Volcano Store and Restaurant, then turn RIGHT, right after the Store. The Volcano Post Office will be on your left...just look for our big, oval sign and go down to the gate. Then call or beep.
