We hate to brag, but guests tell us our breakfast is the best theyâve ever had at B&Bs around the world, that First Farm Inn rosti is better than it is in Switzerland and that our Pasta Carbonara is better than in Italian restaurants.
We serve family style, passing dishes as long as you're hungry. Guests choose from a variety of unusual and creative menus or as well as old favorites. Let us know if you prefer a special menu - vegetarian. low fat, low sodium, etc. We usually eat around 9, but adapt to guest preferences and schedules as much as possible.

Our cancellation policy is refunded if rebooked. That means you share the risk of leaving the room empty if you change your mind. A booking is a commitment we keep to you, turning away others who would like to come on that date. Unlike big hotels, we cannot absorb late cancellations. |

Give your assistant a relaxing night away with massages, send your parents for a "back to the farm of their childhood" memory trip, give the newlyweds a memorable get-a-way with horseback riding.
Gift certificates â for dollar amounts or any of the packages -- can be mailed to you or directly to the recipient. Attractive certificates are individually designed to say whatever youâd like -- congratulations, love, happy anniversary, or Merry Christmas. The package includes a brochure, menu, post cards and the attractive-enough-to-frame certificate. You can pick a date or leave it open for the recipient to use anytime within the next year. There are no additional charges for gift certificates.
Horsemanship Lessons
Eight friendly horses of assorted colors and breeds offer noses to pet and eagerly take carrots and apples from outstretched hands. During the two-hour horsemanship experience, youâll learn grooming basics and help tack up. We help you mount and fit the saddle to you before heading to the riding arena where we work on becoming the horseâs leader and communicating when we want stops, starts and turns. Then we head for the hills, along the ponds and through the woods. The experience ends with removing tack, feeding treats and bathing or grooming, depending on the weather and the dayâs schedule.
Please do not ask to ride if you weigh over 225 pounds or if you are not physically fit enough to get up on a horse. Riding is physically strenuous and requires good posture, balance, concentration, thoughtfulness and the ability to listen.
Surf & Turf Getaway at First Farm Inn
Visit creatures of the surf at Newport Aquarium, ride over the turf on the First Farm Inn horses, relax in rolling water of the outdoor hot tub and/or stretch out for a massage. Prices depend on dates and number of people in your group. Call to set up your special getaway.

From the east or I-75: Follow signs to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International airport, taking I-275 west about 10 miles. Go past the airport to Exit 11 (KY 20 to Petersburg).
From the west or I-275: Take Exit 11, KY 20, (Petersburg, the first Kentucky exit from Indiana).
From the exit: Turn right off the ramp and go one mile to Stevens, the first road on the right at the top of the hill. (When you see signs where KY 20 turns south, prepare to turn.) First Farm Inn is one mile ahead on your right. Look for the white fence.
Please park on the asphalt in front of the house or under the tree, not on the lawn.
Ring the doorbell and/or knock and wait for us to come to the door. If the door isn't answered, look for us outside.
