We welcome you to discover the serenity and hospitality of Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula, located in the heart of beautiful Downeast Maine. The buildings of Acadia's Oceanside Meadows Inn stand on 200 acres at the head of Sand Cove five minutes from the spectacular Acadia National Park at Schoodic.
At Oceanside Meadows your hosts, Sonja Sundaram and Ben Walter, have two very specific goals: to ensure that you have an extraordinary experience staying at their historic inn and to introduce you to their ever-growing 200 acre nature preserve. Husband and wife team of Sonja, whose background lies in geography and teaching, and Ben, whose specialties are marine biology and ecotoxicology, are committed to the preservation of this extraordinary place. Oceanside Meadows marries all that you would expect from an historic inn that has been open since 1860 with an unparalleled opportunity to explore and to understand Maine's environment and natural splendor.
