This Carpenter Gothic house was built in 1869. It is one of the eight famous Stockton Row Cottages. The Gingerbread House has been meticulously and elegantly restored. The house is loaded with gingerbread woodwork, incorporating the innkeeper's talents and craftsmanship. His creations include the double entrance doors of teakwood with titanium handles and beveled glass, the ornate gingerbread exterior wood trim and upgraded bathrooms of teakwood and corian - to mention a few. Genuine Victorian furnishings, lace curtains, original Cape May watercolor paintings, award winning photographs by Fred, and classical music provide a lovely atmosphere with friendly service and attention to detail. The master suite has 2 double beds, private bath and a lovely large private porch with wicker furniture. |
