The 1886 House is an authentic New England country farmhouse situated on 5 acres at the top of a high ridgeline in historic Chesterfield, just off scenic Route 9 & 143.We are only 12 miles from Northampton and 8 miles from Look Park. Our B&B is small and intimate. Enjoy a cozy fire in our reception room in winter and our central air conditioning on a hot day in the summer. Three rooms, two with private baths, one of these is on the first floor. |

From Boston: Mass Pike (I 90 W) to exit 4 - I 91 N, proceed to exit 19 ? Northampton/Amherst, Rt. 9. Stay in the middle lane on the ramp. Go straight across Rt. 9 for 3.4 mi. to a
dead end into Rt. 9 W. Take 9 W for 5.1 mi. to Rt. 143 W. At Rt. 143 W you will turn left. You will take 143 W for 4.2 mi. To Curtis Rd. where you will turn left. Curtis Rd. is partially obscured by a large boulder, so you look for a blue and white Lion?s Club sign.Go to dead-end - East St. after 0.5mi. Turn left and go 0.8 mi. to the 1886 House, on the left
From Hartford: Take I 91 N to exit 19 in MA. And follow the above directions.
From N.Y. state ? Take Mass Pike (I 90 E) to exit 4 ? I 91 N, and follow directions given above.
