The Island Guest House is a turn of the century historic inn located ocean side in the heart of Beach Haven, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Come and experience the restfulness of our European style bed and breakfast guest house.
You will enjoy a quaint and cozy atmosphere. Wicker and lace mixed with hand painted furniture and stenciling evoke a breezy cottage charm. Wind chimes and ocean breezes draw you to our large screened in sunroom full of wicker furniture. Outside in our courtyard wrought iron tables and chairs are shaded with umbrellas for your comfort in daytime and lit with candles cafe style for evening gatherings.
You are only steps away from the beautiful, white, sandy beaches of the Island, and just a leisurely stroll from wonderful restaurants and shops. Emphasis is on great location only 8 houses from the ocean. |

Planning a banquet or reception? Getting Married? Having a family reunion? Anniversary party? Engagement party?ￜ.Spend any "Special Occasion" with us! Indoor dining seating for up to 30 people. Additional seating outdoors in our courtyard can double the number. Add our Bed and Breakfast name into your invitations for guests to use for lodgings. (We offer 15 rooms and a cottage) If you are having a small affair, have it here! If you are having a large reception on the island, have your rehearsal dinner, breakfast, lunch, or dinner for family members, or desserts / hour' derves with us. We can coordinate all of your needs. We work with area florists and bakers for any special touches. You can also reserve our entire facility, complete with breakfast, maid service and all of the amenities we regularly offer.

From northern New Jersey: Garden State Parkway south to Exit 63. Follow Route 72 east to the end. Turn right onto Long Beach Blvd. and proceed approximately 7 miles south to Beach Haven. Turn left on Third Street at the traffic light. (Silver Sun Mall on your right.)
From New York: Take the Holland Tunnel (or Lincoln Tunnel) then the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 11. Take Garden State Parkway south-follow directions above.
From Philadelphia: Take the Atlantic City Expressway to the Garden State Parkway north to Exit 63 and follow directions above.
