In 1895 this sunny Victorian Farmhouse was the center of the Old Johnson Farm, home of Andrew and Isabelle Johnson and their 11 children. It was one of the most successful self-sustaining farms in the San Juan Islands, consisting of 320 acres. Today, Olympic Lights is a 4-bedroom Inn situated on 5 acres of open meadow with panoramic views of the sea and Olympic Mountains. 3 rooms are on the second floor and one room on the main floor. All have private baths. A full vegetarian breakfast is served with eggs from our resident hens. Located within walking distance of hiking trails and public beaches. 5-1/2 miles from the ferry landing. "You are invited to listen to the sunrise and make friends with the midnight moon." |
