This historic colonial inn has been welcoming travelers along the Great Wagon Road(now US Rt. 11) through the Shenandoah Valley since the 1740s. In the main building, guests can enjoy the large common room,with its original pine floors,wing chairs,and massive limestone fireplace. A hearty,fireside breakfast is served in the panelled dining room,with fine restaurants nearby for other meals. The inn is fully air-conditioned. Rooms have queen beds and private baths, most with fireplaces and views of the river and mountains.Guests come to Narrow Passage to relax and enjoy the beauty and history of the Shenandoah Valley. |
